In March and April 2022, we asked for your thoughts on our 2-year Yarra Moves Action Plan. The action plan was adopted at the Council Meeting on Tuesday 31 May 2022.

You can download the minutes of that Council Meeting here.

Our vision

We want Yarra to be a place that is synonymous with active living, a place where everyone can enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle every day.

When we talk about being active, we’re talking about getting your body moving in any way that you like. It can be different for everyone. If you enjoy the way that you are being active, then you will make time for it - no matter what!

At the end of 2021 we asked for your ideas on how we can make Yarra a healthier, more active city. Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback.

We used your input to draft our 2-year Yarra Moves Action Plan, to help us achieve the goals in our Yarra Moves Physical Activity Strategy.

We then asked for you to again share your feedback on this before Thursday 14 April 2022.
