We’re trialling a new pop-up bike lane on Park Street in Fitzroy North to help reduce congestion on the nearby Capital City Trail.

Earlier in 2020 Yarra Council voted to trial a new contraflow pop-up bike lane on Park Street in Fitzroy North. The bike lane is located along Park Street, between Nicholson Street and St Georges Road.

This will allow bike riders to ride in the opposite direction to existing one-way traffic, and provide an alternative route to the currently very congested Capital City Trail shared path.
