At the Council Meeting on Tuesday 17 June 2025, Council adopted the 2025-26 Budget and Revenue and Rating Plan.

Purpose of the consultation

Council develops a Budget every year that outlines funding for the next financial year and how it will benefit the community.

The Budget includes funding for waste and recycling, roads, parks and infrastructure upgrades, local wildlife and biodiversity, the running of our libraries and leisure centres, and support for local businesses and community.

As part of this process, Council must exhibit the draft budget documents to obtain feedback from the community on the projects proposed and operational allocations of funding within the next financial year.
