A bit about the project
We’re looking at how we can make Yarra a more inclusive and accessible place for everyone, so it’s a place where people of all ages and abilities can easily move around and participate in the community.
In 2018 we developed our Access and Inclusion strategy for 2018-2024. Now we’re looking at our next two-year action plan.
In this survey, we're focusing on two goal areas:
- Making sure people with disabilities are included in community activities
- How we can remove barriers to participation.
Making sure Yarra is a great place for people of all ages and abilities
Making sure our city is inclusive and accessible for people of all ages is important, and a major part of many other plans and strategies we develop.
Some elements and key goal areas of our Access and Inclusion Strategy will be addressed through other council strategies, including our Open Space strategy and other strategies we develop.
We're also currently looking at the two-year action plan for our Active and Healthy Ageing strategy, which you can also give your feedback on. Have your say here.
