Consultation has concluded
Yarra Council is preparing a long term plan for children and young people aged 0 to 25.
'The Plan' will adopt a life stage approach that reflects the journey from early childhood to adulthood.
The Nest framework, developed by the Australian Research Alliance for Children (ARACY) will underpin and guide development of 'The Plan'. It was developed through research and consultation including feedback from 9,000 Australian children and young people to find out what they need to have a good life. The Nest promotes the following vision:
All children and youth are loved and safe, have material basics, are healthy, are learning and are participating and have a positive sense of culture and identity
We are seeking feedback to find out more about what is working well, what could be improved or changed in Yarra to help achieve this vision.
