We used your feedback to upgrade the playground at this much loved park.

Project background

In August 2018, we asked for your feedback on the current playground, and what you would like to see in the future.

We then asked the community to have their say on the proposed design in August and September 2019. 72% of the people we spoke to supported the draft design for the playground.

We know that Gahan Reserve is a much loved community park, so we’ve done our best to create a design that reflects your ideas and feedback.

Playground upgrade works

Works on the playground will begin at the end of June 2020 and are expected to be completed in September 2020, depending on weather conditions.

During this time, a section of Gahan Reserve around the existing playground will be closed. The rest of the park will still be open to the community.
