Construction of the new park on Mollison Street (at the corner of Charles Street) is in progress.

Pavement works on Mollison Street, between Park Street and Charles Street are nearly complete and these pathways are due to be open to the public by Friday 29 June.

The arbour structure is scheduled to be installed on Friday 29 June.

The installation of this structure will be followed by the completion of paving around the arbour and the eastern end of the park.

Work on the kerbing at the eastern end of the park will also commence this week.

Due to some issues associated with the steelwork fabrication, the project has been delayed by approximately 3 weeks, and is now scheduled to be complete by the week beginning 30 July 2018.

Detours for pedestrians will be provided during the works.

Construction works will take place between the permitted times of 7am to 6pm weekdays, and 9am to 3pm Saturdays.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by these works.
